Once payment is made the next steps are to transfer the domain into your name:

Domain transfer checklist

• Verify the new registrar will set up your DNS zone files. If you don’t do this, your website and email could go down.
• Start the domain transfer at your new registrar. (We email you to ensure you requested the transfer.)
• I will email you an authorization code
• Authorize the transfer with your new registrar. (Use the transfer authorization code provided in the previous step)
• I will email you a confirmation when your transfer completes, usually not more than 5-7 days.

• You are protected in sooooo many ways! And actually so am I if you should decide to dishonor the process 👀
• I know where you live – you know where I live – we are both protected
• PayPal is really good about protecting both the buyer and the seller against bad behavior – they are better than any police force or task force or ninja attack team! We are both protected
• It is just not good business when either of us behaves badly – so let’s not do that.

 

The process is simple. You look at the domain name, I own it. You consider the domain name in terms of your business plan. You buy it. I transfer it. Now you own it. Same as any other product.
